Tawny Frogmouth Challenges 

One Challenge for the Tawny Frogmouth is that when they go searching for food at night they are struck and killed in road accidents. The insects that the Tawny Frogmouth eats are attracted by the vehicles headlights and then the Tawny Frogmouth followers them and gets struck by the vehicle.  Another challenge for the Tawny Frogmouth is land clearing as the loss of trees; especially trees with hollows have declined the population of this creature. Although there are these two challenges the Tawny Frogmouth faces, its status is Secure.
