Tawny Frogmouth Environment
The Tawny Frogmouth are native animals to Australia and can be found almost everywhere in Australia except for Western Australia and central Northern Territory. Tawny Frogmouth's are found in most habitats such as Forests, Woodlands and Savannah's, but not in Rainforests and deserts. Also Tawny Frogmouth’s have adapted to suburban areas as well. As there is a wide distribution of Tawny Frogmouth’s, these animals live in temperatures between 8°C in winter and up to 40°C in the summer. The average annual rainfall for forests is 1,100 to 1,600mm and the abundance of trees assist the Tawny Frogmouth as they spend most of there time in trees. In the Woodlands the average temperature is 2.9°C in winter and 29°C in summer. The average annual rainfall for the Woodlands is 240mm-800mm. Woodlands have a few scattered trees which will affect the survival of the Tawny Frogmouth as they are rely on them.
